Dave Rosa is a distinguished business developer who has expertly navigated the evolving landscape of clinical research and clinical technology. At Summit Clinical Research, he leads the identification of innovative clinical trial projects within the metabolic practice, focusing on areas such as hepatology, obesity, and other metabolic conditions. He also oversees proposal development and key marketing functions, including the corporate website and conference exhibitions.

Dave’s career is notable for its dual focus. Approximately half of his professional experience has been with leading Contract Research Organizations (CROs) such as PAREXEL International, Prometrika, Clintec, and Cytel, where he developed a deep understanding of the clinical trial process and operational excellence. The other half of his journey has been in the fast-paced clinical technology space. At startups like Phase Forward and invivodata, he adopted a forward-thinking approach that consistently pushed the boundaries of traditional clinical research.

Demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit, Dave founded Clinical Technology Advisors, a consulting practice dedicated to launching innovative technology offerings. Notably, his work in this space introduced him to the field of medication adherence technologies as the U.S. agent for SIMPill, a cellular-connected pill bottle. In this role, he collaborated on multiple projects with researchers at Massachusetts General Hospital, showcasing his ability to integrate emerging technologies into real-world clinical applications.

Dave holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Biostatistics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
